Boat trips on the river Blackwater

CRS Marine

Marina

Situated in the small village of Heybridge Basin on the River Blackwater, CRS Marine was purchased in 2000 and was formally known as Holt and James. The yard and buildings were almost derelict and it took four years to bring the yard up to its high present day condition.

Today, the marina has moorings for forty five boats between 20ft-50ft on modern pontoons with water, electricity and lighting. There are toilets and showers situated close to the pontoon. Crane out and hard standing facilities are available for boats up to 6 tonnes.

CRS Marine is convenient for London and the surrounding counties. Only thirty minutes from J28, M25, the Marina is well situated for exploring the rivers and creeks of the East coast. For those wishing to cruise further the rivers Orwell, Stour, Deben and Alde are to the North. To the East is the Crouch and river Thames.
